Traditionally yellow turmeric used in Southeast Asia in herbal medicine and food. Young rhizomes are juicy and crisp with a relatively mild flavor. Cured rhizomes are fibrous and have a stronger flavor.
To keep your Turmeric fresh store them in a closed container with a paper towel or paper bag for up to 2 weeks. For longer storage, freeze or dehydrate
